Embracing change

It is amazing what happens when the body and the mind meet with consciousness and clarity. We are incredibly adaptable beings with an endless capacity for change. Embracing change is the pathway to a different self. I focus mostly on changing the body and its conditioned patterns but changing the physical is the first step towards an emotional and spiritual awakening that allows for a change of mind.

The problem is our intense resistance to change. We crave permanence in an impermanent world. I’m not sure that there is a recipe for embracing change; it is more likely that we need to start exploring the resistance we all seem to have. Think of something in your life that needs changing, then try and figure out when exactly you knew the change was needed, and finally, spend some time thinking about why it has happened yet.
