Topics Of Study Include...
I especially love the unique take that Jonathan presents in the training and I love the energy he brings. He’s got a ton of information and an enthusiastic approach to the human body. I highly recommend his training to anyone who is interested in teaching yoga, working with clients in any kind of pain management or therapy, as well as anyone looking to improve their own quality of life. It has changed my own life significantly; my posture, my strength, the way I view myself and my understanding of my body and how I move in this world.
With his creative, articulate voice and vision, Jonathan helped me refine the way I hold my body in the most daily environments to relieve years of low-grade chronic pain. His work with posture re-patterning is both utterly revolutionary and logically accessible. For teachers and healers, Jonathan's work will shift how you see, how you stand, and how you speak in your own work and teaching.

I started yoga seeking to heal from several lingering aches and pains related to impact sports. I waded through the variety of vinyasa-style classes offered throughout New York City, before finding one of Jonathan’s training’s. I was immediately converted. Jonathan's instruction on how to settle into asanas, combined with his knowledge of anatomy, is how I was able to make sense of yoga and find the places I needed to go to fix my injuries.
I had the sincere pleasure of being a part of Jonathan FitzGordon’s Yoga Teacher Training. Immediately I could sense that Jonathan had a comprehensive understanding of the human anatomy and that his teaching was markedly different from what I was experiencing around the New York City at that time. I was looking for a teacher who was down to earth and to whom I could relate. Jonathan always brought a simple, straightforward, and honest approach to his classes. He teaches with compassion and inspires his student to be deeply curious about human function. I felt that if I took his training it would prepare me with a breadth of knowledge that I could use for a lifetime. Not only did his training fulfill those expectations, it led me to become a full-time Hatha yoga teacher with a sizable private clientele. With this newfound confidence I gradually became inspired to share my experience through workshops and trainings as well. There is no doubt in my mind that I wouldn’t be where I am today if I didn’t receive this solid foundation of yogic wisdom from Jonathan FitzGordon.
