I don’t really like school. One of the reasons is that, I don’t agree with a lot of the rules. One rule in particular is, “Don’t talk!” I think this is bad advice for the rest of your life. This is why; I think that if you are a teacher’s pet and always do what they say, (including not talk) you will end up not engaging with anyone throughout school. This leads to, not being able to get the courage up to ask someone “ How are you doing?” or, “Want to come over to my place for coffee?” And over all I think you would just become a single 80 year-old sitting on the couch, never even having a job watching TV with a cat on your big fat belly.
If you end up with a teacher that says, not does, then you are going to have a good year. What I mean is that, if you make a tiny mistake and your teacher threatens you and doesn’t do what they say, you have yourself a talker. If your teacher actually does what they say they’re going to do, you have yourself a doer. I’ve had both and I was very surprised when I had my first doer. I even tried to make her forget something she wanted me to do!
I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking, “Oh this guy is stupid! He’s just a kid!” And I am. I’m just a kid with a very strong opinion. But I’m allowed to have an opinion right?
