Let’s start be mentioning two new records that I have no use for— David Bowie’s The Next Day and the My Bloody Valentine. It has been a long long time since Bowie made a great record (Let’s Dance), and twenty years since My Bloody Valentine made any record and I am done with both of them already.
Cherry Ghost is a band that I obsessed on for a few months a few years ago. I had the demos for this record and played them over and over again obsessively. I thought these tunes were amazing.
