It’s that time of the year again when my children are brandishing list upon list of things that they want for Christmas and I know that I can’t help but dissapoint when it comes down to it. For one, it seems like all of my daughters friends have every electronic apparatus known to man and I am a scrooge for denying her her own ipad and the like.
This mirrors my own childhood, which I am appalled by, but at the same time I don’t really think she needs a phone, ipad and/or ipod touch, blah, blah, blah… She is eight.
The spectre of my mothers mantra, “Wait till you have children.” haunts me more than I care to admit.
Anyway, here is an absolutely eerie imitation/version of Elvis’ Blue Christmas by 16 year old Canadian David Thibault.
