Sunday Morning Music: Drenge

I have nothing against the Black Keys (other than not caring for them much) but I think they wish they were Drenge. I have been listening to this record for a couple of weeks without knowing anything about them.

From Wikpedia:

Drenge are an English two-piece grunge / post grunge band based in Castleton in Derbyshire. The band is made up of Eoin Loveless, on guitar and vocals, and his younger brother Rory, on drums. They take their name from the Danish word for “boys”, although it is pronounced differently. The band rose to prominence following the resignation of Labour MP Tom Watson from the Shadow Cabinet in July 2013, who wrote in his resignation letter on his blog “be that great Labour leader that you can be, but try to have a real life too. And if you want to see an awesome band, I recommend Drenge”, although they had a small following and had been picked up by national media at least some seven months previously.
