Lowell George died at 34 after a short but pretty amazing career. Little Feat recorded seven studio albums but aside from Little Feat, he was in Frank Zappa’s band in the late 60’s and played with a number of artists including Chico Hamilton, Robert Palmer, Harry Nilsson and others, including one of my favorite records John Cale’s Paris 1919.
