One of my earliest musical memories comes from the backyard of my Parents house in Brooklyn when I was a very young boy. My sister is seven years older than me— I worshipped her and her friends and their hippie ways. The memory, vivid in recall, but possibly apocryphal, is of my sister and all of her girlfriends sitting on the back lawn singing along to Lola clapping their hands over their heads.
Fast forward about ten years and I was attending the concert captured in the video below. It is audio only but sounds pretty good. It was great to be seventeen and heading to the palladium to ring in the New Year with one of my favorite bands.
Life was a lot of fun then and I amazed at how great it still is. Have a happy new year!!!
