It has been almost two weeks since I started wearing a pedometer and the journey so far has been very illuminating. There have been good days and there have been bad days. I hit a high of 12,000 steps on a day that I didn’t do anything out of the ordinary, and a sad low of 6100 on another day that seemed to me no different than the rest. The other days of the week were all in the 10,000 step range.
The most interesting thing I noticed and I can’t imagine that it is good, but half of my steps are taken in the first six hours of my day and the other half in the remaining twelve hours. Other than that the 6100 step day freaked me out a bit so I am going to start increasing my evening walk with the dog to insure that I always do at least 10,000 steps a day.
